Slate Capital Group is a private equity investment group based in Baltimore, Nashville, and Cincinnati that partners with lower-middle market companies. Slate Capital Group provides liquidity to business owners and growth capital to businesses for further expansion. The principals of Slate Capital Group have significant experience in both running small-to-mid-sized companies and investing in leveraged buyout transactions. We have a long term perspective on our portfolio and we think of ourselves as business owners rather than simply as investors. Slate’s primary areas of focus include business services, distribution, light manufacturing, and food & beverage investments. Slate targets companies with annual EBITDA of $3-15 million.
