In 2009, Sleep Inc. initiated a recycling program to tackle the problem of mattress disposal with the only true end-of-life recycling program in the industry. With each bed recycled, Sleep Inc. donates blankets to homeless shelters, women's shelters, and other charities as part of its community initiative.
