The Slo Coast Journal, headquartered in Morro Bay, California, was founded by Judy Sullivan, a former staff writer at the now defunct Morro Bay Sun Bulletin newspaper. Judy wiped off the dust and then outdid herself, launching the Slo Coast Journal, a newsmagazine devoted to all things from local politics and police beats, to arts and entertainment, cooking, surfing, animal care, poetry and many other topics. She now serves as Publisher and Editor of the Journal.
