Content includes features on fashion, beauty, career, relationships, art, home decor, cooking, travel, health and more. sloane seeks to address the 21st century woman who is redefining traditional female roles. We are not our mother’s daughters, we are not 20, we don’t accept the set- tle-down ideas of the past and we are changing the idea of “Happily Ever After” every day. This is what sloane is about—a place that combines the youthfulness we still possess with the wisdom and polish we never had when we were younger. The sloane woman has everything she had at 20, but with a unique style, confidence, achievement and self-possession that is: sloane. At sloane we believe the digital model is truly the future of publishing, and in the spirit of sloane’s mission to serve a more modernized woman, each issue contains over 250 hyperlinks to shopping resources and background information on articles and contributors. With the growth of the magazine we plan to expand to create a complete, multi-media experience that will utilize the latest developments in the interactive magazine platform, including the use of interactive text elements, embedded video and sound. The brand will also offer a full website experience that will include supplemental content, social networking vehicles, a blog and video channel.
