Sloe Motion

Sloe Motion is a Melbourne based digital artist working in the fields of photography, animation, light and media art. Sloe is passionate about constructing and deconstructing moving images from static subjects by applying programmatic rules and abstraction. Sequences of images are generated and looped which reveal unexpected interactions between the subjects. The work isolates the movements of humans and/or objects revealing themes of awkwardness and vulnerability. Image processing techniques are used to degrade the subjects and highlight the entropic state of the universe to slide towards an ever increasing state of disorder.
