Slow Music Ets

Slow Music is a Cultural Association which has its fundamental principles based upon the ethics of work and the defense of consumers’ and operators’ rights. Inspired by Slow Food, it is a real movement dedicated to Beauty, Excellence, Respect and Cooperation into the music field. Slow Music was founded by Claudio Trotta together with 14 founders to defend, spread and promote the diversity of music in all its genres, creating collaborations and contaminations in order to be experiences to enjoy and not to consume, enhancing local cultural identities, indie music and original artists. The founding idea is to propose a strong alternative inspired by the increasing homologation imposed by the modern logic of production, distribution and economy of scale. The main activities of the association are: to promote the professional skills of the workers into the music field, to nurture their passion by involving consumers, to encourage cooperation within the music supply chain, to denounce unfair practices and to offer concrete tools to counteract them. Each of these activities is the extension of three fundamental values: quality - respect - cooperation. Slow Music wants to be a creativity and opportunity engine, wants to support talent by establishing a linear, transparent and united collaboration network to create and organize experiences of quality and beauty, involving institutions, artists and enthusiasts. Slow Music’s tools to achieve its goals are events, professional training courses, initiatives devoted to social desease and the use of media.
