SMACC FILMS was formed by artists Sophie Maccorquodale, Laura Quinton and Miranda Pope. Our shared vision is to create innovative, poetic and concept-led films for multimedia platforms. We are interested in fashion, art, youth and popular culture and how it impacts on our lives. Producing high quality, digital content, promos and documentaries, our clients are drawn from the worlds of fashion, art and other cultural sectors. Whether we are behind the scenes at London Fashion Week, on the road with the fans of Slayer, or making promo films for the British Council, we always look beyond the surface – finding overlooked, unexpected or forgotten narratives to turn into original content for multi platform viewing. With backgrounds in fashion, photography, academia and art-house filmmaking, we have skills and experience in all aspects of video making, from concept development and production to final delivery. We also collaborate with a number of talented freelance filmmakers, cinematographers and musicians. It is our mission to continually push our creative boundaries to produce outstanding work to any brief.
