Smardt

Smardt is a pioneer and global leader in oil-free centrifugal chiller technology, with an expanding portfolio of thermal management solutions. For more than two decades, we've built our reputation on a simple principle: remove the oil, and everything gets better. Magnetic bearing compressors eliminate the friction, degradation, and maintenance burden of oil-lubricated systems, delivering efficiency that holds over the full life of the machine — not just on day one. That heritage now anchors a broader thermal management platform. As AI-driven data centers reshape cooling demand and decarbonization reshapes the built environment, our portfolio has grown to meet it: air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, heat pumps, and airside solutions engineered for the loads our customers actually run. We serve data centers, pharmaceutical and semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, district energy, green buildings, and industrial process cooling — anywhere efficiency, reliability, and lifecycle cost matter. With manufacturing across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, and a global team of over people, Smardt operates through three regional business units: Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. Headquartered in Dorval, Québec. High-efficiency, energy-saving thermal management, engineered without compromise. Follow Smardt Americas, Smardt EMEA, and Smardt Asia Pacific for regional news, and visit Life at Smardt to see what it's like to work here.
