Smart Eco Hub

Smart ECO Hub is a project part funded by the European Regional development Fund and the Department of Finance Ireland. Its mission is to develop the East Border region of Ireland from being recognised as the first EU region to have a Sustainable living community to the Global Leaders in the Low Carbon Sector. Smart ECO Hub is supported by all Academic institutions, Government bodies and Local Authorities along the East Border Region of Ireland including County Meath. It is a catalyst for both public and private stakeholders whose remit within their corporate strategy is to innovate and increase investment within R&D and strengthen the economy across the sector. How can the Smart ECO Hub support my business? Smart ECO Hub will act as a catalyst for brokering partnership between investors and inventors. Our priority is to stimulate innovation within the sector within a low risk environment. • We will facilitate and broker partnerships between public and private sector stakeholders • Support companies with the application process for accessing public funds • Identify and source private investors/Angel investors/banks • Capitalise on Smart ECO Hub international connections • Technically scope projects • Provide access to living laboratories • Provide networking opportunities with key industry leaders • Broker partnerships regionally and internationally Our local resources are currently under utilised, therefore it is the role of Smart ECO Hub to identify opportunities and for companies to capitalise on the developments through the support of FREE technical support for all members. This in return removes the resource barriers for innovating through the resource from Smart ECO Hub which allows a company to develop and expand
