SGRS events are at the forefront of the transformation of the grid into the smart, self-healing, two-way power and communications superhighway that our future demands. The mandate of the Smart Grid RoadShow concept is to create timely and economical ‘Smart Grid-centric’ events in geographically significant venues across North America. Each SGRS event — one in the Spring and another in the Fall — concentrates on bringing together highly motivated people, fresh ideas and progressive organizations from the user, supplier and consulting communities in an intimate environment that is conducive to knowledge expansion. In doing so, we leave behind the skyrocketing costs and logistical overhead of much larger conferences, allowing participants to focus on communicating and sharing vital information.
