Smart Krishi

Smart Krishi Nepal is an agrotech startup focused in implementing ICT tools for sustainable agriculture and easy market access. Our product is attempting to capitalise on the fact that genuine agro information and market channels have been scarce and disorganized, yet there are millions of farmers in the country who are spread far and desperately needed it. We have been able to scale in a very short period of time and in future we want to facilitate our technology designs to ease the information seeking and gathering process using the human-centered processes and iterative designing. Statistically our android app has been downloaded over times and our facebook page has followers (mostly youth). We have been collaborating with agencies at local and regional levels, including public and private in providing agricultural training. Our research indicates that there is a huge need for solutions like ours and our team is working tirelessly to turn our visions into actions.
