Smart Life Solutions is the developer of CallGenie, an innovative auto-answering video calling device that works with a television. CallGenie was primarily designed for people with difficulties using technology and is ideal for the elderly as well as for those with cognitive or physical disabilities. When a video call is received, CallGenie takes control of the television to display the video call. When the caller hangs up, the television is returned to the state it was in before the call. The user does nothing to answer the call or switch the television back to the channel they were watching. It’s all done automatically! Relatives, friends and carers use Skype (which can be freely installed on Smart Phones, Tablets. PCs and Macs) to make video calls to the end user. For the end user’s security, only calls from known contacts will be answered automatically. CallGenie is easy to install and all configuration and support is provided remotely by our UK staff or our international distributors.
