Smart Prospects Development Management

Supports purposed inspired leaders of small organisations to make their difference, well - sustainably and with vitality, so that they can act with confidence. What matters most? It is the purpose that inspires the action, rather than the for/not-for profit organisation type - there are some incredible for-profit businesses doing amazing work, making their difference with people who work there being the difference they want to see in the world. All organisations are comprised of people and we're all a work in progress, so the focus for Smart Prospects is to support the development of the people who are serious about making their difference for the people, places or species that inspire them to act. There are two arms of my work: a community of peers who are getting things done together, and the consultancy work. The 'DO to BE' Community: everyone has clients and/or project work which create the perennial juggle of doing the work OF the organisation, and doing the work ON the organisation. there are regular virtual coworking, networking and co decluttering sessions, plus coworking retreats which all help to create the space for purpose-inspired people to get stuff that makes a difference off the (dreamy) to do list and converted into tangible completed actions. Together we manifest our dreams by doing the actual spadework - hence 'DO to BE'. Development consultancy: supports small businesses and volunteer run organisations with organisational dynamics & development, governance, project planning and fundraising strategy, cultural development etc. Work ranges from short term work of a few days to help clients solve an immediate problem or facilitate meetings, up to long term work involving more in depth organisational development. For my charity consultancy work, I always aim to enrich an organisation by capacity building, and training as required, to ensure that my time with them brings immediate impact and lasting benefit.
