SmartChip Integration (SCI), a fabless IC design company in Suzhou Industrial Park, was founded by Institute of Semiconductors of Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISCAS) and China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Venture Company (CSVC), in Sep 2006. SmartChip started with the proprietary technologies developed by the ISCAS on wireless local area network (WLAN) RFIC products and some other advanced IC design technologies. As a high-tech IC design company, SmartChip focus on the development of radio frequency (RF) chips and high-speed data converters, which play a crucial role in modern communication systems.
