The Problems we have: Current construction project management services have the following shortcomings: • Ineffective information collection - At present, the prefabrication factory's information to the construction site relies on manual operations, dominated by paper. • Incomplete information - Well-formatted information about prefabricated modules at the right time at the right quantity in the right place is still insufficient to support efficient decision making and collaborative working among stakeholders. • Lack of automatic decision - The use of BIM alone cannot provide optimal schedule decisions and proper guidelines for the manager promptly under a dynamic environment. The Solutions we provide: Internet of Things-enabled Building Information Modeling platform (IBIMP) offered by “smarTEC for the Modular Integrated Construction (MIC) project consists of smart construction objects (SCOs) equipped with smart trinity tag (STT) and GPS sensor, smart gateway system, data source management service, location-based service, rule-based progress control service, as well as decision support services for prefabrication production, transportation, and on-site assembly processes.
