Hello, my name is Chris Welch and I’m a graphic designer in McAllen, Texas. Basically, I get paid to sit in front my computer for inordinate amounts of time, consuming unhealthy amounts of caffeine and create righteous designs for cool people. There is however a bit more to it than that, things like typography, white-space, composition, functionality, along with hundreds of other terms that I’ve spent my entire adult life filling my head with, along with the ideas and philosophies behind them. I do this so that I can create things that not only look nice, but also serve a purpose in the real world. I mostly earn my living by creating advertisements, business cards, logos and other printed branding / marketing materials for businesses all over the country. Graphic design is my focus, but I am also knowledgeable and experienced in both photography and web design.
