The versatility of plastics, combined with the experience of our professional technicians in the field of scenography design and museum furnitures, enables the SMIA group to carry out complex and varied work, responding to the different needs of its customers. Prototypes, scenic plants, artistic interior decoration, furnitures and exhibitors made of plastic, scenic or artistic design solutions, resolve successfully the most complex artistic or theatrical applications. Parts made from SMIA are obtained from processing of thermoplastic materials by hot pressing: this technique allows the molten polymer food, placed in a mold, to assume the desired shape through the air intake. The SMIA made using molding dies created inside the plant resin, iron, gypsum, whose matrix is retained on-site, made available to the same customer for further processing. Peculiarities of the molding technique is that real competitive advantage over potential competitors is the vacuum molding with which you can print structures, even self-supporting with a diameter of 2 meters. This technique can also produce molds with deep reinforcement techniques, particularly used in the spa industry and integrate with other plastic materials in the creation of fully functional design elements.
