Smile Welfare Foundation

SMILE welfare foundation is a legally registered, non-profit voluntary organization working for the upliftment of underprivileged children. SMILE is managed by a group of young professionals working in various backgrounds. We believe that meaningful & quality education is one of the important ingredients in the development of children. It transforms children into confident and bold individuals ready to take on the challenges ahead in their life. It is an effort to lay a positive foundation of change in the field of education for the underprivileged kids. We believe that happiness for a lifetime can only be achieved by helping & enriching the next generation. History: In 2004, 20 youngsters just out of their colleges and onto their first jobs, believed that they had it in them to change the lives of those less fortunate people around them. They believed that a better world and a better society could be created by them. So SMILE WELFARE FOUNDATION was born on the shores of the Besant Nagar Beach, in Chennai on April 4, 2004. Today, SMILE WELFARE FOUNDATION, has changed many lives, replaced frowns with SMILE’s in many faces. And the journey continues. Mission: To help economically & socially backward children by providing them love, support and education and to make them feel as you and I felt in our childhood.
