It was owned by the Managers of The London P&I Club and traded then both as the in-house broking house for the Club and as a Lloyd’s broker. It became independent in 1951 following a management buyout and in the intervening years has acted for many of the current members of the International Group of P&I Clubs and their Member assureds.
