Smith + St. John provides comprehensive real estate development and project management services to building owners and users. We act as the Owner's Representative to manage the process of conceptualizing, planning, permitting, financing, designing and constructing facilities. Our experience in all phases of the development process allows an Owner the benefits of a seasoned in-house management team, while precisely tailoring each assignment to the Owner's need. We serve as team leaders, actively promoting collaboration while imposing practiced discipline on the delivery of cost-effective projects. Depending on the needs of a given project, we are prepared to manage the entire development process or to provide a reduced menu of services. We provide only advisory, development and project management services. Our only task is to represent the owner; we choose not to offer brokerage, design or construction services in order to focus our attention more completely on each client's overall development agenda. This allows us to more effectively manage risk for the owner by minimizing conflicts of interest. We are able to offer a wide range of additional services by partnering with or hiring consultants, as dictated by the client and the needs of the project. We maintain an active network of experienced professional colleagues in real estate brokerage, financial services, planning, architecture, construction and facility management.
