Proudly family owned and operated, Smithfield Cattle Company is a state-of-the-art cattle operation built on nearly 100 years’ experience in the red meat industry. From running butcher shops in the 1920’s, to today managing two head feedlots and extensive cropping properties, Smithfield is focused on delivering premium cattle performance for our customers in domestic and international markets. Smithfield is comprised of over 100 passionate staff across our two sites in Proston and Goondiwindi, as well as our head office in Brisbane, who each play a vital role in helping us produce nutritious, sustainable, quality protein to feed Australia and the world.
