Smoke & Gamble Cellars

Smoke & Gamble Cellars is both a grower and producer of magnificent wines using cool climate practices along with selective application of the appassimento process. Our singular goal is to create magnificent wines you'd be proud to share and enjoy with friends. We offer three portfolios for your enjoyment: RESERVE Our Reserve wines are produced from select vineyards showcasing the distinctiveness of each varietal and blend. These wines receive extended time in the barrel, and can be aged for enjoyment in future years. APPASSIMENTO Appassimento: Amarone style. Perfectly ripe, clean bunches of grapes are harvested and placed in former tobacco kilns to partially dry the berries leaving us with concentrated fruit to work with in fermentation. BURNING ICE Burning Ice: Frozen Appassimento, our unique creation. Partially dried fruit is left in the kiln until outside temperatures are below zero. Grapes are then pressed while still frozen to achieve a rich, decadent desert wine.
