SMPS stands for Society for Marketing Professional Services. SMPS was created in 1973 by small group of professional services firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to create business opportunities. Today, the association has a membership of more than marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada. SMPS Austin boasts over 130 members representing a diverse range of professional services firms. Our chapter operates to advocate for, educate and connect leaders in the local building industry through relevant and timely programming, professional development resources, networking events, and, in true Austin style, plenty of happy hours.
