For another, reduced net operating losses from approximately $21 million to $1.2 million by improving decision support and identifying revenue enhancements. • In collaboration with the CEO, a special committee of the board of directors, and AdvocateAuroraHealth senior leadership, successfully identified and executed a plan for a major healthcare system to become the 100% owner of a medical center and owned provider practice. Essential elements of the plan included: Valuation, Payment Terms, Agreement in Principle, Definitive Agreement, Disclosure Documents, and Post Closing Activities. • Effectively led the completion of three years of required Audited Financial Statement Restatements necessary due to a government payor billing compliance issue. • Oversaw major re-billings of medical services inappropriately billed to a government payor and internally identified as a major billing compliance issue with state regulations.
