Snehi India

Snehi is a non-profit community based registered Society established in the year 1994, based on a vision “to ensure the right to positive mental health of every individual”. Snehi is committed to the cause of psychosocial wellbeing and mental health care for all, focusing mainly on child and adolescent mental health care and rights. Snehi in its pioneering efforts has helped 96,972 individuals of whom 85,457 were children and youths in last 14½ years who were emotionally and mentally disturbed, and suffering from mild to moderate mental health disorders through our core services of telephonic and face to face counselling, and community mental health. In this endeavour, 800 Volunteers have been associated with us till date. Snehi primarily envision mental health services through community participation and promotes Volunteerism. Snehi has initiated and pioneered many awareness and preventive programmes such as exam helpline concept for school and college students and community mental health programmes in India.
