SnowHaze is a dynamic Zurich based start-up that is committed to increasing data protection on the internet. Big-data and personalization are becoming more and more important in our lives. However, acquisition, control, exploitation of and profit from personal data remains under the control of very few, large companies. Our goal is to democratize this industry. Everybody should be in control of their personal data and trade it freely. SnowHaze follows a three-pronged approach to allow everyone to regain stewardship of their data. First, SnowHaze protects user data, taking private browsing to a whole new level. Second, SnowHaze makes leaked user data worthless by manipulating already existing data sets. Finally, SnowHaze employs on device personalization. To that avail, data is gathered, analyzed and put to work on the user's device. This allows everybody to benefit from personalization while taking advantage of first-class privacy protection. Furthermore, SnowHaze offers a marketplace, in which users may monetize their personal data.
