The Snowscoot company was created in 1992 by its founder Franck Petoud who invented the product SNOWSCOOT in 1991 and owns its brand name and patents. This company is building Snowscoots and saling them in 20 different countries. Its owner Franck Petoud is also the first Snowscoot rider to have organised Snowscoot events and races such as the first Snowscoot French cup in Avoriaz (fr) in 1994, the first Snowscoot European championships in Murren(ch) in 1996 and the first Snowscoot world championships in Les Diablerets (ch) in 2002. The company is still the leader on the Snowscoots market even after several new Snowscoots brands have showed up since 10 years, producing copies since then. The 2013 Snowscoot range is probably the best quality Snowscoots the company has ever produced introducing for the first time larger,bigger and lighter models ridden by the best Snowscoot riders around the world.
