Founded in 2007 to bring a business identity to the ongoing design work of Robb Jibson, So Midwest, Inc. has grown to a group of collaborators, do-ers and dreamers. So Midwest, inc. provides Production Design of staging visuals for Music Acts, Corporate Theatre, and Film & TV. Providing lighting design, content creation and scenic design for a wide array of fun projects! In 2015 we established our own studio with with a dedicated editing and programming suite,"hot desk" work spaces and a creative environment on the northwest side of Chicago. Abilities in house include-120 core 2.99ghz xeon based render farm -large format printing -3d printing -Video editing -3d modeling and cad stations -symmetrical internet connection Stocking most current control systems for media and show control, we maintain a open door for Chicago based freelancers with free time to join us to explore and enhance their skills. The dream is to establish a "hacker-space of show technology" for people that otherwise would not have access to technology in a no stress learning environment.
