Soa Malaysia

Our hub is designed to empower youths to engage the fundamental science of conservation and ecology; provide opportunities for public participation and engagement in authentic science research and knowledge transfer by creating awareness among citizens in line with the themes and objectives of SOA and SDG 14, and aiding curators and experts alike by working towards establishing conservation priorities of our Malaysian marine biological heritage. The mission of our SOA Chapter would be to be 'Waste-free Ocean'. This is to encourage the local communities particularly in our chapter to support being waste-free which is to be more aware of the effects of pollution and how much of it would harm the nature as well as the human themselves.
