Purpose of Soccer Rhode Island Soccer Rhode Island (SRI) is dedicated to growing the game by providing high-quality soccer programs, education, and resources that support players, coaches, referees, and clubs across the state. Our mission is to develop young athletes, foster a lifelong love for the sport, and create inclusive opportunities for all levels of play. Through coaching education, player development programs, referee training, and community partnerships, SRI strives to enhance the soccer experience while upholding the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and growth. As the state’s governing body for youth soccer, we are committed to ensuring a safe, fun, and competitive environment for every participant.
