Social Catalysts Charitable Foundation

Social Catalysts is a non-profit organization that supports social and environmental change, with a particular emphasis on improving the lives of people with disabilities. Our current focus is to increase employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health issues by creating products out of recycled videotape. We partner with employment training organizations for the disabled and train their consumers to weave videotape into a fabric, which is then transformed into functional items for sale such as totes, hand bags, book covers, etc. Social Catalysts assists in the marketing and sale of these recycled products.
