Social Design Foundation

Our foundation is dedicated to exploring how the built environment can improve the quality of life by focusing on what makes spaces enjoyable, social, and functional for people. We believe in preserving the identity of communities, helping people feel at home while creating spaces where they can connect and interact with each other. 🧠 Through our research, we provide scientific evidence that supports why designers should make specific transformations or spatial choices in their projects. For us, it’s all about sharing knowledge and making it accessible to everyone. We aim to become a trusted, go-to hub for expertise and inspiration. Our work spans super-diverse cities in Europe, but we also dive deep into the impact of design in formerly colonized regions, including the (Dutch) Caribbean.
