Social Engine is social enterprise dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable young people through meaningful employment, practical work experience and ongoing support. Our mission is to create meaningful employment opportunities for young people while raising awareness about the challenges of youth unemployment. We’re committed to building a sustainable social enterprise that creates ongoing job opportunities for those who need them. All profits go straight back into the business to support more at-risk young people into work. As a unique and multi-faceted social enterprise, we are committed to providing diverse employment opportunities for at-risk youth aged 16–25. Our operations currently span three types of businesses. The first is a Dandenong-based warehouse, where young people gain experience in warehousing, basic production, packing, and distribution. This facility supports a variety of industries and clients, managing the logistics of a comprehensive range of PPE and workwear products for the building and construction sector. We also operate four kitchens, where youth are trained in hospitality and retail while helping develop a catering offering for local businesses. To support our mission, we partner with key not-for-profit organisations and community-minded corporate partners, creating opportunities for growth and meaningful employment. Social Engine Australia is a registered trading name of PAWS Fulfilment Pty Limited which is an ACNC registered charity and Social Traders certified social enterprise.
