Our mission is to help individuals and organizations embrace healthy human connection and turn away from detachment, disengagement, and disregard of others. The Social Intelligence Institute provides research, online education, and workshops to individuals and organizations. Social Intelligence is a framework for understanding and relating to one another that transforms us from isolated individuals to socially connected and aware people. When we adopt a Social Intelligence framework, we change, fundamentally, from self-centered organisms to social beings, able and willing to form and sustain meaningful social relationships. The capacity for SI develops with experience through thoughtful reflection about ourselves, combined with a greater understanding of our own social world, and enhanced motivation to become less self-focused, and more attentive to others.
