Social work is one of the most demanding professions, but it is also one of the most misunderstood. When the sector makes news headlines, it’s often for the wrong reasons, but for every negative story that we read about, there are thousands of positive ones that remain unheard. This is a challenging and diverse sector and we believe that social workers should be recognised for all their hard work and dedication in helping to transform people’s lives.
