Society for Development & Training (SFDT) a voluntary organization registered under Societies registration Act VI of 1998 (1941 A.D) vide registration no. 4794-S dated-29-09-2005. The organization has made its intervention in states of Jammu & Kashmir its head office located at RIMCS Campus Arya Samaj Gali W.No. 5 Kathua. The organization since its inception is solely focused onto uplift Health Services Education & vocational training for employment and self-employment in the weaker sections of the society and in particular youth and women. The organization is being managed by a team of dedicated philanthropists volunteers and professionals. The organization strives to work for the welfare and development of the landless laborers marginal farmers unemployed youth women and inspire people who are by now a disadvantages lot. The organization since its inception has imparted vocational and skill development training on various trades adult education literacy camps non-formal education and women empowerment and educational awareness program in J&K.The organization has identified the weaker section of the society in terms of gender and socio-economic parameters and have empowered them to avail better opportunities to improve their standard of living. The organization has been actively supporting the BPL students street children particularly women for basic as well as technical education.The organization intervention has improved the socio-economic-political environment of the rural areas. This has helped the rural folk to be self reliant and self-sufficient. It has organized programmes and implemented the same with the fund assistance from various quarters. But mostly the aid agencies for its programmes have been private donors. The organization has already been working for the development of the SC St OBCs and BPL deprived and under privileged sections of the society since for the last six years and believes their development is imperative to countries development and also wishes to serve and make their development is imperative to countries development and also wishes to serve and make their life better through various mediums and capacities. Apart from the above all the society serves people irrespective of caste color or creed and has always and will always work towards providing livelihoods to them.
