Our Story One day, a long, long time ago a man traveled across the sea from Sweden. He was on an adventure exploring the countryside with one of his good friends. While in Canada he was captivated by a beautiful young lady and was unable to return to Sweden. He wanted to think of a way that he could help bring Sweden to Canada. With the help of his brother in law he started to import European furnishing into Canada. After many, many years of hard work and dedication this has developed into the Sofa Land we all know and love today. We have been family owned and operated since 1992. Operation has now moved to the second generation and we are working harder than ever to bring you quality furniture at an affordable price. We have been very fortunate over the years to be able to attract amazing employees into our business, and these employees are now part of our family too. With their help we strive to create an atmosphere where consumers will feel comfortable shopping. When they come in we want them to feel welcome and we want them to feel like they are at home.
