The SOFTPRO Group - which included the German SOFTPRO GmbH -became part of Kofax in September 2014. SOFTPRO GmbH was merged into Kofax Deutschland AG in April 2015. Kofax has inherited the SOFTPRO e-signature brand SignDoc and the check fraud prevention business under the two umbrella brands of SignPlus and FraudOne umbrella. Today these brands are part of the Kofax portfolio as Kofax SignDoc and Kofax FraudOne. SOFTPRO was the global market leader for signature management solutions (electronic signatures and fraud prevention solutions). The company focused on consultative selling in close collaboration with value-adding system integrators. Key industries were banking, insurance and telecommunication. At the time of acquisition the SOFTPRO Group had 70 employees based in 8 locations in 7 countries on 3 continents and its solutions were in production in more than 50 countries marketed by more than 60 partners. The headquarters were based in Boeblingen / Germany.
