Founded in 1928 using dismantled parts from an old hanger, we are, 81 years later, at the same location and stronger than ever, already 80% ahead of our 2008 record of finding homes for 1,096 dogs and cats. Ours is a mission of saving lives; once the animals are saved they must be nurtured and cared for. Volunteerism is the heart of our success. volunteers clocked volunteer hours last year, which equates to 10 full-time employees, maintaining the health and well-being of the animals entrusted to our care
