After more than a decade of academic research on neuroscience-driven digital therapeutics using video games as delivery media, Soihtu DTx has developed a breakthrough video game digital intervention to treat depression. Soihtu DTx’s intervention implements broad-spectrum neurocognitive training targeted to strengthening executive functions and the underlying fronto-parietal neuronal circuits. Neurocognitive impairments and fronto-parietal hypoactivity are common behavioral and neuronal symptoms of depression, which the antidepressant and psychotherapeutic treatments do not target at all.
