soilmate.com allows consumers across North America to find out who grows, raises or produces what in their area, how they do it, when its available and where they can buy it. They can even buy direct from Farmers and Wineries through the site. The way it works is to pull all the Farms, Markets and Wineries within a 100mi/160km radius of wherever you are searching from. It also shows consumers exactly what is actually grown/raised and produce in their specific 100mi/160km area. Farms, Farmers' Markets and Wineries can currently create free profiles at soilmate.com in preparation for spring.
