Mission statement: We want to deliver the maritime industry with high quality shading solutions that are always a perfect fit to customer demands. We listen, perform and are reliable. Our core values are reliability, co-operation and the love for making something beautiful. Products and turn-key shading solutions: Awning systems with carbon uprights and awning sails: We have various standard cylindrical, tapered and curved uprights but can also any shape of carbon upright following the designer’s intent. These uprights can be executed with lighting, powered via a wired or wireless power supply. Slide-out and retractable awnings: The retractable awnings have a carbon spoiler shaped to fit nicely in the yacht’s structure and uses fabric as a shade. We can also deliver complete custom carbon slide-out systems. Both systems are completely tested and commissioned in the workshop Louvre systems: Turn-key cassette systems with aluminium or composite rotating louvres with composite fashion pieces to nicely connect it to the yacht’s structure Parasols: We offer full custom carbon parasols but also offer semi-custom options Other products that combine carbon uprights and fabric (e.g. projection screens) We are actively using the available knowledge and experience inside the company and the feedback from clients to continue to improve existing products and develop new. Sol-Mates B.V. is a Dutch limited liability company started by 5 entrepreneurs with a different but proven track-record in the yachting industry. There is a background in composites, metal constructions, special engineering, 3D engineering and project management. With our knowledge and experience, together with our joint network, we strive to be the trustworthy partner for high-end, bespoke shading solutions (removable awnings, slide-outs and retractable, louvres, parasols etc.).
