Solar Plus Renewables Corp.(Solar Plus) is an independent renewable energy company headquartered in Hong Kong with an expanding global coverage. The Company was started in 2012 with the backing from AP Capital, an alternative investment firm based in Hong Kong and jointly founded by Mr. Moses Tsang and Mr. Paul Cheng. Solar Plus is primarily engaged in investing, owning and operating assets in renewable energy generation and storage, energy efficiency management, and energy asset management. Assets The Company’s solar PV generation assets consist of residential systems, commercial rooftop systems, as well as utility scale ground mounted plants in the U.S. and the UK. The Company is currently focused on sourcing and building solar PV generation assets in developing economies with an established framework of policies and regulations in supporting development of renewable energy under various subsidy schemes or private power purchase agreements. Solar Plus employs first tier solar modules and equipment from international manufacturers with experienced and reputable EPC contractors in each key market. The Company also works with local O&M and asset management providers and has acquired its own asset management capabilities through an investment in Radian Generation in 2016. As solar PV generation systems are becoming more cost competitive against conventional technologies in electricity generation, the Company expects electricity from solar projects to become more popular and reach grid parity in more and more countries around the world. In addition to solar generation assets, the Company plans to actively broaden its future business into origination, funding, construction, operation, and management of other forms of renewable energy in developed economies, as well as in selected emerging markets.
