Solent Medical Services Limited is an NHS-staff owned company, established in May 2007 to provide high-quality community services to Southampton and Hampshire NHS patients. The Company is registered with the Care Quality Commission and currently provides four community based services, specialising in Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Fibroscan and the Community Wellbeing Team service. Our aim is to deliver a patient positive experience that provides exceptional care for all patients. Our main location is Newtown Clinic in Southampton and our normal opening hours are Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630. Our Vision To provide accessible care in the community, improving access to health and social care by providing high quality, integrated services for communities within Hampshire. Our Objectives To provide high quality, safe local healthcare for patients in Hampshire. To improve patient experience by providing more timely appointments through accessible and efficient administration. To reinvest to promote growth and service development for the benefit of all stakeholders. To reduce the need for acute and long term care by proactively identifying those at risk earlier To embrace change by being part of the wider network for healthcare and wellbeing delivery and to provide innovative models of care across the City.
