Sollars Marine Surveys, owned and run by Barney Sollars conduct damage and claims assessment surveys for the insurance industry and pre purchase surveys for private clients on sailing and power craft. Sollars marine Surveys are based in the Isle of WIght and cover the south coast of the UK between Portland and Newhaven. Commissions can be undertaken further afield on special arrangement, including worldwide. Barney Sollars has had a wide ranging career as a boat builder, sailor and boatyard and marine and civil's manager, all of which are brought together in the services offered by Sollars Marine Surveys. Barney Sollars is an Accredited Member at the YDSA and member of the IIMS.
