Solok Radjo

The Solok Radjo Cooperative has become home to the best coffee in the highlands of Solok and Kerinci. Founded in 2012 by a group of Arabica coffee farmers in Solok with the aim of realizing the social and economic potential in each coffee supply chain to rebuild forests and community coffee plantations in the Solok and Kerinci areas. Currently, approximately 890 farmers are members of the Solok Radjo Cooperative program. Through a series of activities gathered by all coffee farmers, until 2019 the Solok Radjo Cooperative succeeded in reviving the enthusiasm of the surrounding community to maintain their coffee plants and preserve the forest. Although in terms of capital, the achievement of the Cooperative is still relatively small, it has achieved enthusiasm and optimism for the future. In keeping with the slogan “coffee for the people and the earth”, the cooperative and its members have made sustainable agriculture and forestry the main focus of our coffee growing activities.
