Solv is a digital Business to Business (B2B) marketplace developed to facilitate growth of Kenyan Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises’ (“MSMEs”) by easing access to credit, e-commerce and business services. The Solv platform facilitates commerce in a trusted environment, while easing access to finance and business services through one seamless digital experience. Solv Kenya’s 1st product in Kenya is Supply Chain Financing (“SCF”), an invoice financing program co-created with some of Kenya’s leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) clients (“Anchors”). Under this program, MSMEs (“Dealers”) will leverage their relationship with Anchors and procure financing at attractive rates from Solv Kenya’s network of Financial Institutions (“FIs”). Solv Kenya has developed a platform that will digitise the entire process, giving MSMEs optionality, access to competitive pricing and in turn enabling MSMEs to grow their business, giving FIs access to new markets whilst increasing business for the anchors and creating a stronger growth relationship between anchors and dealers.
