It all started with a product called Ecopompom, and then, in the middle of the madness that was 2020, we launched Compostaway Compostaway is New Zealand's first nationwide, on-demand collection and composting solution for the approx. 225million compostable disposable cups, lids and not to mention the tonnes of compostable packaging that ends up in landfill every year instead of where it needs to be - a composting facility. We have now expanded our services to the bulk collection of compostable packaging for large organisations, event waste solution companies and schools (lunch programmes) across New Zealand who are looking to up their sustainability game, and want to start acting in a tangible and effective way to divert compostable packaging waste away from landfill. We are proud to use fully electric vehicles in this most recent expansion.
