Solvent Energy

The name Solvent Energy was derived by Michel Jouven from the French words for solar and wind, “solaire” and “vent”. The Corporation was established relative to JC Mont Fort Holding, SA’s entry into the US market in 2021. For over 20 years, JC Mont Fort Holding, SA has approached power generation in France, Spain, Portugal, Tunisia, Moldova, Ireland, Ivory Coast, and the Caribbean consistent with the ESG views of today and all along has taken the approach that sustainability extends beyond environmental issues. With that same approach in mind, Solvent Energy is actively developing projects in the United States. Solvent Energy has site control of over 3.5 GWs of generation and energy storage made up of solar and BESS hybrid facilities and standalone BESS facilities across three different regions of the ERCOT system. Solvent’s portfolio of utility-scale projects are in various stages of development from site control to the ready-to-build stage. We are proud and grateful for the success we have achieved in a short period of time with at team of dedicated professionals.
