Solvicon were founded in 1998 and in 2008 Solvicon initiated the idea of thinking globally but acting locally, when Solvicon founded Vindbruk Halland AB together with a group of forest owners. This was reflected through a global perspective about production of sustainable and clean energy and at the same time secure the economy and workplaces locally. As head of development, Solvicon have been leading the development through a virtual team of specialists who managed all stages from green field to building permit. Late 2016 Vindbruk Halland was taken over by a consortium who will take this this multimillion dollar project through its final stages.
